5 Tips to get anything done

Do you ever find yourself wanting so much out of life but just never having enough time? Or the complete opposite – just wanting too much and not having the motivation to do anything?
Today we are visiting 5 tips to maximize your day and take control:
1) Wake up early
Waking up early is simply said but most probably hard to do. However, it is by far the first step in the positive direction. With this, you have full control in creating your own routine. You can add in positive habits like journaling, brain training activity and even a workout. This will help shape your day and keep you making positive decisions towards a more productive day.
2) Make a to-do list
Making a to-do list is basically mapping out your day. This list includes activities that you want to do throughout the day and keeps your head in the game. This list has to be prioritized and realistic. It is best to focus on one huge task or do the hardest task first since you are less inclined to psych yourself out.
3) Reward yourself
Rewarding yourself has to be the most important tip and it is often ignored or bypassed on a typical day-to-day life. We are humans and it is important to celebrate the inner victories – you know; the victories that don’t get a cheer or the ones that just go unnoticed. You need to recognize your achievement and remember everything takes time. Little positive reinforcements go a long way.
4) Stop Multitasking
I am probably the worst to recommend this and as I am writing this, I find to have incriminated myself but do yourself a favor and STOP MULTITASKING! It is doing more damage than good. Studies have shown that multitasking kills your performance and may even damage your brain. Try focusing on one thing at a time and you will exponentially increase your productivity.
5) Build good habits
It takes 21 days to create a habit and it takes 90 days to create a lifestyle. If you want to change something about anything in your life, you have to put in the work. A little progress each day adds up to big results.
These are all simple 5 tips to make you get anything done and they can easily be incorporated into your life. These habits have worked for me personally.
